For short-term business visit visa, Indonesia provides 4 (four) types of visa i.e. Multiple Business Visit Visa (VKUBP), Business Visit Visa (VKU), Visa On Arrival (VKSK), and Visa Waiver Facility (BVKS).

1. Multiple Business Visit Visa (VKUBP) is a short-term visit visa for multiple entries with one-year validity. Every single entry will be given maximum 60 (sixty) days admission. It is specially designed for bona fide business persons. Nationals from all APEC economies are eligible for VKUBP.
2. Business Visit Visa (VKU) is a short-term business visa which valid for 60 (sixty) days. This visa can be extended up to 180 (one-hundred and eighty) days with every extension is only for 30 (thirty) days. Nationals from all APEC economies are eligible for VKU.
3. Visa on Arrival (VKSK) is a short-term visit visa given on arrival in Indonesia entry-ports and designed only for short visit purpose (including business and leisure). There are two periods of length stay provided i.e. up-to-7 days or an up-to-30 days period. This visa CANNOT be extended.
4. BVKS is visa waiver facility with the combining purposes of holiday and business. This visa enables nationals of certain countries get admission to enter Indonesia without obtaining a visa. This visa is valid for 30 days period and NOT extendable. 

The business visit visa is provided for business purposes which are NOT engaged in employment

Indonesia is now fully operating an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) since May 4^th, 2004. ABTC admission is valid for maximum of 60 (sixty) days and CANNOT be extended. Indonesia is currently providing 6 (six) seaports and 17 (seventeen) airports for ABTC holders. From those entry-ports, 1 (one) seaport and 4 (four) airports have been equipped with ABTC Special Lanes, while the other have not been equipped. Departures can be through other international airports without special lanes. 

General requirements of documents for Business Visit Visa application are:

1. Travel Document with minimum 6 months validity and 1.5 year validity for Multiple Business visit Visa (VKUBP) application.
2. Completed application form (applicable for VKUBP and VKU)
3. Supporting document/sponsor letter (applicable for VKUBP and VKU)
4. A round trip ticket or through-ticket to country of destination (applicable for BVKS and VKSK)
5. Proof of sufficient fund (applicable for VKSK)
6. Recent photographs (applicable for VKUBP and VKU)

For VKUBP and VKU, visa application can be made in person or by proxy at the nearest Indonesian overseas representative. The applicant's sponsor or representative in Indonesia can also lodge application onshore.

The normal processing time for VKU and VKUBP is 7 (seven) working days. The process will take longer if more information and examination is needed.
